The five people who stop by your house this afternoon ask you if the cleaning lady just left, because (gasp!) your house is clean! While Irma tops my favorite people list, she hasn't been around this week. The guilt finally set in and I pulled out the vacuum. I'm not sure the suction on the thing even works but it makes cool lines in the carpet that inspire my friends to ask me if a cleaning lady just left, so maybe I'll try this again. Not much got done this week because of this...
Another great read! Especially for memoir fans/history buffs who will likewise be surprised that Iraq is not the third world country we imagine. A very intriguing insider's view into the slippery slope of dictatorship. And a very inspirational guide to making a difference worldwide.
