Imagine a packed concert venue where mega-fans stand on their chairs without blocking the view and the hot seller at concessions is a "jamwich" sandwich. That's the scene when the stage is sponsored by Nickelodeon and the band's groupies are all 3 feet tall.
The Fresh Beat Band began its 15-week, 95-city tour Thursday night at City National Grove in Anaheim, followed by two shows on Saturday at San Diego's Balboa Theatre and four performances in two days (Feb. 19-20) at Club Nokia in the L.A. Live complex. While the 6 p.m. show ended right before bedtime, this preschool crowd was anything but drowsy.

Next: The Nickelodeon-launched quartet play two shows (2 and 5:30 p.m.) on Feb. 4 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, $37.50, followed by four shows (two apiece on Feb. 19-20) at Club Nokia in the L.A. Live complex, $35-$45
As brightly-clad characters Kiki, Twist, Marina and Shout took the stage, the viewership of the popular Nick Jr. show leapt from their parents' laps and onto the floor to shake their pull-ups and bobble their pigtails to favorites such as "Here We Go," "Banana" and "Loco Legs."
