Who's your MVP? I've got a few floating through my life, but lately the ones who have been on my mind are my amazing neighbors and friends... The Hegewald Family. When this sunny, blonde family of 6 moved down the street several years ago, they seemed a little too good to be true--Mom Abby smiled while driving carpool, Dad Kevin (an ER doc) happily stitched up bleeding neighbors on his kitchen counter. Their kids are like wind up toys with energy, enthusiasm, and massive talent.

But EVERYONE who knows this family LOVES this family.

So why do bad things happen to people like this? So the rest of us can learn... how to be, how to react, how to live, how to love... Kevin was recently diagnosed AGAIN with cancer. And it's a doozy... He's fighting hard, resilient, and remaining quite affable in the process. You must, must check out their blog. Abby's wit and wisdom are worth visiting for alone, but if you want to learn how to get back up when you've been flattened by a steam roller, their example will advise...
