'Bully' aims to spread awareness, educate parents

I'll never forget the day my firstborn came home from school in tears and told me she wanted to throw away half her clothes – the half that made her look "pudgy." After a painful conversation, I learned that some punk kid named Frankie had asked my daughter why she always looked so fat. She was four.

Bullies. They'll target you in preschool and follow you well into your teens. They'll slam you into a locker and steal your lunch. They'll tear you down, and toughen you up. Some say they're a natural part of adolescence. Unfortunately, they're everywhere.
