It's Michael's 34th today, so I'm going to list 3-4 reasons I still adore my baby...That's 3-4, not 34. Does anyone really have time for that? I don't--we're trying to shake the love monkeys off our legs to get away for the weekend...
1) Michael is the BEST dad. And not just to our kids--he's a great playmate for all the neighbor kids, cousins, etc.
2) Though he tries really hard to not let anyone see it, Michael is truly one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. He knows a lot about everything, and if he doesn't know it, he's more likely to figure it out for himself rather than ask. I really like that.
3) Michael lights up a room. When he comes home, we are all generally thrilled. He loves to laugh and keep things light and fun, and creates a good balance for us. I'm sure I'm not the reason we get invited anywhere...
4) Michael would do anything for anyone. This is why we always have a stockpile of other people's broken computers hanging out in the "I'll get to it" pile of our kitchen. (Please don't take that as an invitation.) But he is very generous with his time and talents, and always puts others first.
And there are at least 34 other reasons I love this man, but I'll tell him those in the car... Bye!
