They are classic words from one of our most classically celebrated children’s authors that are being whispered throughout Read Across America classrooms. Words that seem harmless, hopeful, even... humanitarian. And therein lies the problem.
Political pundits from Lou Dobbs to Stephen Colbert are taking their chance to unleash against "liberal Hollywood" in terms both flustered and funny, at the release of Universal's new film, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.
But mind you, the environmental story behind the film was penned by the beloved Dr. Seuss; his wife, Audrey Geisel, executive produced. So who's really to "blame" for the tree-loving message?
