Great Idea! Planning a special father son midnight movie to see the new Pirates on opening day!
Bad Idea! Planning this on a school night with an eight-year-old who has a totally, admittedly overscheduled day the next day.
Okay Idea-- Caving and letting them go assuming son goes to bed by 7 before he's awoken at 11:30pm for movie
Not so okay Idea-- Letting son stay up instead to find out who gets kicked off American Idol (sorry, Haley, but you were kind of a snot)
Good Try-- Putting yawning, droopy-eyed SON in his sister's HOT PINK jacket as you both stumble out the door for movie.
And I'm the Bad Guy?- the way I felt when fun times dad accused me of being overly critical for calling him color blind
Arrrgh. Have fun, gentlemen.
